The Hubble Space Telescope recently marked its 26th year in orbit. To celebrate the birthday, NASA and the European Space Agency released a spectacular mosaic image of NGC 7635, aka the Bubble Nebula, and this short video about it. Curiously, the star from which the nearly symmetrical nebula grows is located not at the center of the image, but a little to the left. And, what are those glowing blue curlicues just to the right of the star? They are cometary knots that are generally larger than our entire Solar System.
